About Me
Im a cache fanatic and love getting out in the great outdoors... espcecially any place that has great photo Ops! I've seen so many incredible places since I began Geo-caching that I'd never have gone to had I not been involved in this great sport~ I've cached in Alaska and Australia (in fact started in Australia without the use of a GPS in 2009). Even so, my daughter and I managed to find several. We cached on our way up to the Daintree, stopping along the way at the Whit Sundays and Tully to name a few. On my last visit to Oz, I had the priviledge of haveing been taken out on several caching excursions by a local Cacher near Brissie. What a fabulous time we had. At one place ... in the bush actually, we went for the cache.. as it was up a bit of an incline, my friend grabbed the cache and handed it to me to sign then put it back. By the time we got back to the Jeep, I had no less than 6 LEECHES on me while he had None! I asked him how on earth that could happen, first.. in the BUSH and second.. I had on long pants and he was wearing shorts!!.. his answer?... Ahhhh well that's because those were Canadian Eating Leeches!! Nuff said... next time I have the opportunity to visit my family and the great Land Down Under, I will be mindful of those Canadian Eating Leeches that... aparently fall out of trees~ *-) Post a CommentOops! The words you entered did not match the given text. What an interesting reflection!
We learn't about your introduction and your love of the sport and you finished off with making a giggle. Awesome! |
